EXPANDED ANIMATION

The symposium Expanded Animation was initiated in 2013 and offered a first approach to the expanded field of computer animation. In the meantime, it has become an established part of the Ars Electronica Animation Festival and the international competition Prix Ars Electronica Computer Animation.In the last five years, the symposium has featured 56 experts from the fields of animation, art, gam es and science, including media artists, scholars, curators, animators, filmmakers, and media design and animation studios.
