GLOBAL GROOVE

By means of over 270 photographs, paintings, sculptures, films and performances, it illustrates how new forms of expression in dance and art arise through transcultural encounters. The language of which dance is made steps, gestures, happenings, processes and ri tuals is shown alongside its materials bodies, light, colour, fabric and haziness. Its effects go beyond its aesthetic value and extend into the societal, cultural and political development of modern societies.
