Yves Saint Laurent collaborated with some of the most prominent photographers of the 20th century. For more than four decades, until the closure of his fashion house in 2002, Saint Laurent and his creations were portrayed by avant-garde photographers, including legends such as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, David Bailey, Helmut Newton, William Klein, Sarah Moon, Annie Leibovitz, Paolo Roversi and Juergen Teller, resulting in iconic images that helped forge his own image and that of his brand.
