ACE Traductores and Laie invite you to the talk "Edition and translation":
Irene Oliva, translator and partner of ACE Traductores will talk with Mónica Monteys, editorial director of Gatopardo ediciones. Helena Aguilà, vice president of ACE Traductores will moderate the ceremony.
The publisher Gatopardo has a peculiarity: until now he has published only and translated books. Mónica Monteys, its editorial director, will explain how she selects translators, how she works, how important she is to the translation and why she has made this choice, among other topics. On the other hand, the translator Irene Oliva, will talk about her work in relation to a small label such as Gatopardo, where the relationship with translators is very close.
