The decorative Wooden Dolls, designed and made by Alexander Girard for his own home in Santa Fe, were likewise inspired by his exten sive personal collection of folk art. Girard was one of the key figures in post-war American design.Part decorative object, part toy , the Wooden Dolls are based on originals from the Girard estate in the holdings of the Vitra Design Museum.Material: solid fir wood , hand painted.Dimensions: approx 5 cm W x 27 cm H.
