LA BOTIGA DE L'ANSON

Catalan artist Martí Ansons site-specific installation at Meubelgalerie Vynckier in Waregem, Belgium, does not simply show a number of pieces of furniture inspired by his fathers work. It is a conceptual concept shop reconstruction and a revival of a project h e previously developed for the Species of Spaces exhibition at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA). Ansons father, J oaquim, designed and manufactured furniture in line with the modernist avant-garde using a method comparable to industrial kit produ ction.
