Miquel Barceló is considered the most internationally successful Spanish artist today. His gripping work - including paintings, ceramics and bronze sculptures - tells of life and death, of decay and transcendence, of strange, distant worlds and the fascinating underwater world of the sea. The artist's oeuvre is being presented for the first time in Germany in a large-scale solo exhibition with around 70 paintings from all creative periods and a selection of ceramics.
