WHAT IS VIENNA ACTIONISM?

In its first publication, the Vienna Actionism Museum focuses on the concept of Viennese Actionism in the field of tension between abstract realism, Fluxus and international happening art. The book tells the story of one of the most influential art movements in art history, characterised by the actionists Günter Brus and Otto Muehl, Hermann Nitsch and Rudolf Schwarzkogler.
