Le Cubisme 1907-1914 Musée National d'Art Moderne 31 January-9 April 1953 71x51cm The Atelier Mourlot was a lithographic print shop founded in Paris in 1852. By the 1930’s, Mourlot had established its reputation as the largest printer of lithographic museum posters, illustrated books and limited editions. Although today the lithographic presses lie dormant and the stones are cold, the history of the collaboration between Mourlot and great masters (Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Miró, Chagall, Léger, Dubuffet, Moore, Le Corbusier, Rosenquist, Calder, Giacometti,…) lives on in the graphic works that remain.
