GERHARD RICHTER

All will span Richter's six-decade-long preoccupation with the twin modes of painterly naturalism and abstraction, in relation to ph otographic and other representational iconographies. Comprising over one hundred works from the artist's prolific career, this major loan exhibition will present an incisive cut through Richter's entire oeuvre, highlighting two important recent series, Birkenau (2 014) and Cage (2006).
