LEE FRIEDLANDER/ A RETROSPECTIVE

The American photographer Lee Friedlander is one of the most prolific artists of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. From the outset of his career in the midsixties his oeuvre marked a significant turning point in contemporary photographic language. This vol ume comprises approximately three hundred photographs, complemented by text by Carlos Gollonet, Nicholas Nixon, and an interview wit h Friedlander conducted by Maria Friedlander, the photographer's wife.
