ON KAWARA - 1966
Materia: Monografías de arte contemporáneo
This book highlights the Japanese conceptual artist’s production in 1966, the year following his move to New York City and a key phase in his oeuvre. It was then that he began working on his world-famous “date paintings”, in dialogue with curator Tommy Simoens, the final project Kawara undertook in his life. The exhibition marks the first institutional showing of his work in Belgium since 1975.
