ROGER BALLEN RESURRECTED

Resurrected is a multi-layered installation that Roger Ballen created in an abandoned family home deep in the Finnish woods. The ent ire house was then moved and reassembled at the Serlachius Museum in Finland. Resurrected documents not only the history and const ruction of this unique edifice, but reveals the aesthetic vision of Ballen where the concrete and abstract, real and imaginary and a typical and archetypal merge into a single poetic space.
