This publication documents a new, comprehensive series of large-format works on paper. Colored surfaces in predominantly muted tonal range present themselves as permeable and fragile settings, in which the brushstroke becomes visible in varying degrees. As horizontal bands of color rhythmized to different intervals the individual drawings develop an installative, expansive energy that engages in an interplay with the historical exhibition space.
