A Retrospective from Basel Collections. This publication accompanies a large-scale retrospective of the artists work, the first to unite the collections of the Kunstmuseum Basel and the Fondation Beyeler, assembled with donations from the private collections of t he above patrons. The Picassos Are Here! allows us to perceive astonishing correlations between the artists many periods, from the Blue Period to Cubism and the Surrealist-influenced paintings of the 1930s, to the postwar and late works.
