Unconscious Places presents Thomas Struths photographs of streets in all parts of the world: narrow lanes in Edinburgh and Naples, satellite towns in Pyongyang, thoroughfares in Lima and Los Angeles, grand boulevards in St. Petersburg, New York, and Beijing. Freq uently devoid of people, Struths urban landscapes are also a critical depiction of different human habitats.
