ALBERTO GIACOMETTI. A RETROSPECTIVE

17 October 2011 - February 5, 2012The Picasso Museum in autumn 2011 will present the first retrospective in the XXI century in Spain of the work of Alberto Giacometti (Borgonovo, Switzerland, 1901 - Chur, Switzerland, 1966). In this way the Museum goes deep back i nto the work of a key artist in the avant-garde art of the twentieth century, when he developed substantial part of his work Pablo P icasso himself. In fact, the two artists met in Paris in the thirties and maintained a friendship and mutual admiration.
