TAKASHI MURAKAMI/ THE 500 ARHATS

This exhibition featured Murakami's synonymous 100-meter-long painting, one of the largest paintings ever produced in global art his tory. The work was created as a token of gratitude to the Nation of Qatar, one of the first to offer assistance in the wake of the 2 011Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Fully illustrated and featuring new essays as well as conversations with the artist in Japanese and English.
