In recent decades Poblenou has undergone a profound transformation, initially with little respect for the neighbourhood's valuable i ndustrial heritage and, more recently, with greater sensitivity to the historical and architectural importance of these buildings, which allow us to explain a decisive period in Barcelona's history.
