The book features many previously unpublished images, installations created exclusively for the Halle Saint Pierre, and photographs of objects and works from Ballens own collection of Art Brut. The associated retrospective, occupying both exhibition spaces at the Halle Saint Pierre, will be curated, like the book, by Colin Rhodes.
