El bibliófilo murciano Antonio Pérez Gómez (Cieza, 1902-1976) y el gran estudioso y bibliófilo Antonio Rodríguez-Moñino (Badajoz, 1910-Madrid, 1970) mantuvieron una fértil amistad centrada en asuntos literarios que duró más de un cuarto de siglo. De su rico epistolario apenas ha sobrevivido un puñado de cartas de Rodríguez-Moñino, pero sí más de 300 de Antonio Pérez Gómez. Cartas que se conservan en el Legado Rodríguez-Moñino / María Brey que custodia la Real Academia Española.
