PIONEERS - PHOTOGRAPHY BY WOMEN

From the more than fifteen million photographs stored in the Dutch National Archives in The Hague, work by 43 women was selected for this exhibition catalogue. All created between 1859 and 1999, the photographs were taken by women who can be described as innovators and whose work paved the way for future generations. The book focuses on both famous and lesser-known figures from the Netherlands and abroad.
