THE OTOLITH GROUP

The Otolith Group was formed in 2002 by London-based artists Kodwo Eshun and Anjalika Sagar. It takes its name from the structure in the inner ear that establishes our sense of gravity and orientation. Their work engages with archival materials, futurity, and with the histories of transnationality: suggesting a future in which the past is treated as a relic, an idea that has the potential to inform the present and modify the future.
