MOTHER NATURE

Building on his Album Beauty, Erik Kessels gathered new images from his personal collection. Mother Nature comprises photographs of women posing in flowered environments: flowerbeds in public parks, private gardens, fields, etc. This universal theme singled ou t from vernacular images brings along repetitions and differences that nonetheless yield a common narrative and compose a visual ant hropology.
