PICASSO PRINTS

This publication was prompted by the British Museums acquisition last year of The Vollard Suite (100 etchings produced by Picasso b etween 193037), on show at the museum from 3 May until 2 September. The prints are beautifully reproduced, and their key themes t he artists burgeoning interest in sculptural forms and the classical world discussed. This is the first major reassessment of thi s seminal series since Picassos death.
