RICHARD ARTSCHWAGER/ NO MORE RUNNING MAN

This book documents Artschwagers last series of work, shown posthumously at Gagosian Gallery, in 2014. For decades, Artschwager has forged a maverick path by confounding the generic limits of art while making the visual comprehension of space and the everyday obj ects that occupy it strangely unfamiliar. For his last series, Artschwager returned to an image, the isolated Running Man, that fasc inated and inspired him for twenty years.
