Juliet Pomés Leiz revisits El Born, where she had her studio four years. The web of its streets, the medieval palaces, Santa Maria del Mar, the Picasso Museum, its human scale... all invite you to explore and sketch. But there is also the coexistence of the old w ith the new, the traditional shops with chic boutiques, the daily routine of its residents in contrast to the dynamism of the visito rs. All of this makes for a fragile balance but it is also one of the most famous and attractive neighbourhoods in Barcelona.
