FLOWER POWER

Is it possible for a forest to be blue, for a writing to be made from buds, or for a shoe to be shaped like a cactus? Combining the natural worlds of plants with design makes those images possible. Plants and flowers have inspired designers and artists since the b eginning of the crafts, but now with the world becoming increasingly urban, we feel an even stronger urge to reconnect with the natu ral world. The book aims to show innovative examples of these natural influences in design.
